ACM will be sponsoring a programming tournament during the month of April. Prizes will be best buy gift certificates for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place at $50, $30 and $20 respectively. Specifications are as follows:
Your program must compile on a linux machine. It can be written in any language otherwise.
The program will output a character (r, p, s) to std::out followed by an end line. Each character represents rock, paper and scissors respectively. Rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper and paper beats rock. There is a catch however. As a twist if you win with rock it is worth 2 points instead of the traditional 1 point.

As always ACM will be sponsoring an End of Semester Dinner at Old Chicago Pizza in Okemos. Dinner will begin at 6PM on April 19th and will last until you feel like going home! Come enjoy the company of faculty and students. Everyone is welcome even if they are not ACM members or even in the CSE department. The cost is $3 to members and $5 to non-members. ACM will pick up the extra cost for pizzas but you are responsible for your own beverages. So come on out for one last chance to hang out with friends before finals and wish the graduating class of 2007 fairwell!
